This page is in gratitude to Our Blessed Mother and to St. Joseph, for all that has been accomplished in, with and through Halo-Works. It is because of her example that we make the veils and it is through the intercession of both that we are as successful as we are. Here find the devotional prayers we have used in our petitions.

A Prayer to the Blessed Virgin - Never known to fail!

O Most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, splendour of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God. Immaculate Virgin, asssit me in this my necessity, there are none that can withstand your power. O Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein that Thou art my Mother.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee! (recite three times).
Holy Mary, I place this cause in your hands (recite three times) Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine.

***It is customery to recite this prayer for three days, with great confidence that Our Lady of Mount Carmel will hear us. Pius tradition and personal experience for many Catholics has been that the prayers are certainly answered! My friend, from who I got these devotions, says, "I remember one time I asked for white flowers as a sign that Our Lady heard my prayer, and a florist on the streets of Dublin handed me a bunch of white flowers as a 'free gift' on the third day!" Custom also has it that one publishes the prayer after the three days.***

Efficacious Prayer to St. Joseph

O glorious St. Joseph! Faithful follower of Jesus Christ, to Thee do we raise our hearts and hands, to implore Thy powerful intercession in obtaining from the benign Heart of Jesus all the helps and graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death and the special favour we now implore (mention your intention here). Then say the following Verse and Response seven times in honour of the seven joys and sorrows of Saint Joseph: V. O Glorious St. Joseph! Through the love Thou bearest to Jesus Christ and for the glory of His Name... R. Hear our prayers and obtain our petitions.
